The Owner
After being in the beauty industry for 10 years in Dallas, TX, then 2 years in Minneapolis, MN, I decided to come back to my hometown and settle down. And thanks to your support, Camberwell Beauty has now been in business for 6 years!
I unintentionally began my career in the industry while managing high-end hair salons in DFW during college, deciding my future between Science, Art History, or Social Work. I feel like my studies molded me to where I am today because now I found a career encompassing all three. My first job as an Esthetician was in a Korean Spa where the power of the hands superseded any tool. I then specialized in face and body waxing for several years, and began entrepreneurship by creating then selling Dallas's first mobile spa. I am now a Licensed Esthetician of 13 years, accreditations for both clinical and holistic approaches: certified in Facial Sculpting & Buccal Massage, Korean skincare and Biomicroneedling, triple certified in medical grade Advanced and Hybrid Chemical Peels, Cosmedix Esthetician of the Year 2022, Arch Addicts Approved in 2016, and certified in cosmetic tattooing.
My skincare philosophy is that facials should not just be a birthday treat, but an everyday priority. After all, it is your largest organ, there to protect the rest of your internal organs, and communicates for help as skin conditions. Like the great Joanna Czech says, "nipples up is vanity, but taking care of the rest of your body's skin is health."
The Protege
I'm Aston! From a young age, I was drawn to the beauty industry and the way thoughtful, intentional care can restore confidence and well being.
In 2022, I took a leap of faith and moved away to attend Esthetician school, following a calling to work in skin focused beauty. After completing my education, I chose to return home to be closer to family, something I value deeply and keeps me grounded.
As a faith led esthetician, I believe true self care goes beyond the surface. My approach to skincare is rooted in calm, care, and intention with each service tailored to your needs. I specialize in relaxing, results driven facials designed to support skin health, while enhancing natural beauty alongwith lash lifts, brow laminations, and tints. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgement free space so you feel genuinely cared for.
The Protege
Erica has been in the beauty industry since 2010, beginning her journey in hair but finding her passion in skin. Specializing in facials and facial waxing, Erica has a strong yet comforting touch. She will additionally be offering scalp treatments, blowouts, and haircuts. She is a very spiritual person who loves children, music, architecture, and serving at her church. You can find Erica some mornings, evenings, and every other weekend.
